“Christian nationalists like to portray themselves as martyrs.” I read an article sometime back that historical scholars researching the records to document all the stories about Christian Martyrs in Roman times, found out most—not all—of these stories were just stories. This aligns with current Christian Martyrs who are not victims but vectors of hate and intolerance.
