I appreciate your work! I and a small group of folks monitor the TUSD meetings but other than a weird and immediately taken off the agenda proposal for a subcommittee to reach out to the faith community, there are few to no shenanigans related to religion.

Would you please explain how Rebecca Hill, a home-schooling Christian Nationalist, got elected to the Board? This is obviously a strategy of the Xtian Nationalists in many places, so it seems important to understand how these extremists are getting boosted to powerful positions in our communities. TY

This is part of the plan w/ these groups like Mom for Liberty. Their long game has always been to fully privatize our public schools. They spread crazy lies like litter boxes or sex change operations in schools, and they froth everyone up into a tizzy. Since they do not get their news from reliable sources, they exist in an echo chamber and believe everything that is being fed to them.

She did! She says it's to move out of state to be closer to family. Now there is a vacancy in PUSD and the County Superintendent will fill it. The school board can review all interested candidates and send in their recommendations, and he can go with their recommendations or go rogue and appoint whoever he wants. I'll be watching closely.
