Nice post, Jeanne. I just hung up with my sister in Ohio who turns 90 today. We never lived in the same house together but have kept close and deeply appreciate one another--like you and your Pops.
Yep, there's plenty of existential threat to go around... and did you mention Israel? Some of the battles I fight invigorate me but many are wearing away any resilience I can depend upon. So, enjoy being "home" and spending time with your father.
